Also called Accra Beach, Rockley is a crescent of soft white sand on the south coast, shaded by casuarina and sea grape trees. It has everything on hand: lifeguards, toilets, showers and changing rooms, plenty of parking, wheelchair access, a children's playground, picnic tables, beach bars, and vendor huts renting chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. Taxis wait by the beach, and the Quayside Centre across the road has food outlets and a convenience store.

The water is mostly calm with small waves, good for a swim, body-surfing and boogie boarding; at times the swell builds enough to surf without the undertow found at the island's bigger surf spots. Expect a busy, sociable beach, as popular with Bajans as with visitors. For a stroll, the South Coast Boardwalk runs west from here along the water's edge to Hastings, and it's a good spot to sit and watch the sunset.
