Deborah Beach
Small, secluded cove among the cliffs near Crane, for a look and a paddle

Deborah Bay is a small, quiet bay of fine white sand set among low coral cliffs at Belair in St. Philip, a short way north-east of Crane Beach. It sits at the end of a residential street. There is no car park, only limited roadside parking, and the last stretch down to the sand can be steep. Facilities are minimal, and it is mostly a place for sunbathing and a look at the water.
This is the Atlantic-facing south-east coast, where strong currents are common. There is no lifeguard, so only paddle when the sea is flat, and stay out if there are waves. Weekday mornings are the quietest time. Our sources for this beach are thin, so check the conditions when you get there.

Good to know
Deborah Beach: questions
- Is Deborah Beach good for swimming?
- Our guide rates the sea at Deborah Beach as usually rough, with strong waves and currents, so it is not a beach we suggest for young children to swim at.
