Villa Rosa sits on Coronation Drive within Royal Westmoreland, St. James, right next to the golf course, with views running across the fairways to the Caribbean Sea beyond. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom house stands on half an acre of landscaped grounds, screened from view on every side. Outside, there is an infinity-edge pool set into a shell stone sun terrace, with a garden bordered by mature trees. A covered terrace off the sitting room opens on three sides, giving plenty of room for eating and sitting outdoors. A courtyard entrance leads through a coral stone hallway into a double-height dining area, with a wrap-around stone staircase and a shuttered gallery above; the shutters and windows open to let in the breeze and daylight. The sitting room lies beyond, with doors on three sides opening onto the terrace. The kitchen sits just off the dining area, with a separate laundry room and drying yard beyond it. Three of the four en-suite bedrooms are on the lower floor; two of these, towards the rear of the house, have French doors opening onto the terrace. The principal suite is upstairs, with views over the resort and the sea, and its own balcony looking down over the pool. Materials throughout nod to the island - coral stone walls, shell stone terraces and pickled pine ceilings - set against contemporary furnishings in muted tones.
