About this villa

Tom Tom sits on the Calijanda Estate in St. James, looking out over the west coast and the Caribbean Sea. The house is built from natural coral stone, with wooden floors throughout and a large wooden front door that opens straight into the main living space. Furniture was brought in from Indonesia and Bali, custom made with a Caribbean touch running through the rooms. The formal living room carries handmade Balinese stone carvings and leads out to a terrace with an infinity-edge pool and open views of the sea, a spot that works as well for an evening drink or a late swim as it does for watching the stars. The kitchen is open plan and well equipped, running through to a dining area on the terrace for meals outdoors with the same sea views. There are 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in all. The principal bedroom is upstairs, with floor to ceiling windows that look straight out over the Caribbean Sea. Four more bedrooms are on the ground floor, each private and comfortable, with plenty of space. Two of these have four-poster beds and their own outdoor bath set in a tropical courtyard, giving them a spa-like feel. The fifth bedroom opens onto a courtyard and is fitted with twin beds. A media room is tucked away off the main living area for a quieter evening in. Holetown is a 5 minute drive from the villa, with duty free shopping at Limegrove and a good choice of restaurants serving both international and local food nearby. Guests at Tom Tom also have access to the beach facility at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion, where sun loungers, beach umbrellas and the resort's food and beverage service are all available for use.
