The Summer House sits within the Sugar Hill Tennis Resort in St James, on the West Coast of Barbados, a two storey villa set among the resort's tropical gardens with views over the sunset side of the island. Four bedrooms are spread across the property, all air-conditioned. In the main house there are three en-suite bedrooms: two on the ground floor opening onto the terrace, and one twin room upstairs. The fourth bedroom, also with twin beds, air-conditioning and its own bathroom, is in a self-contained, open-plan cottage next door with a kitchenette of its own. Upstairs in the main house you'll find the living areas and a fully-equipped modern kitchen, along with an open-plan lounge fitted with a DVD player, CD player and TV, plus a dining area. From here there's access to the terrace and a second spot for dining outdoors. The villa has its own private plunge pool, and guests can also use the communal pool at The Clubhouse. Sugar Hill's other facilities are available too: flood-lit tennis courts, a fitness centre, and an open-plan clubhouse with a restaurant, bar and members' lounge.
