Sea Grove House is a newly built, five-bedroom beachfront villa in The Garden, St. James, on Barbados' west coast. The property sits directly on a quiet stretch of sand, with an infinity pool and a courtyard fountain setting the tone as soon as you arrive. Upstairs there are three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom; two of these bathrooms have both a shower and a bath. Two of the upstairs bedrooms sit next to each other and share access to private balconies looking out over the Caribbean Sea, good spots for morning coffee or an evening drink. The third upstairs bedroom faces the garden and has its own en-suite with a shower. Between this bedroom and a second snug down the hall there is a further balcony, another quiet corner to catch the breeze. The principal bedroom has an adjoining snug that overlooks the infinity pool, suited to reading or working with a view. The second snug offers flexible space, whether as an office or somewhere to unwind. Downstairs, two more air-conditioned bedrooms open onto private verandas, each with its own seating area set among tropical planting, giving these rooms a good degree of privacy. In total the villa has 5.5 bathrooms. The layout is open-plan, joining the kitchen, which includes a separate prep area for a private chef, to the dining space and a TV room. Sliding glass doors lead from here out to the main terrace and the private pool deck, so indoors and outdoors stay connected. A courtyard at the centre of the house, with three fountains and plenty of greenery, carries that same flow through the middle of the plan. Stone floors and neutral, natural finishes run throughout. Outside, the terrace has shaded lounge areas and space for dining, looking over the pool towards a secluded piece of beach. Cook service is included, with an upgraded chef service available over the festive season, making Sea Grove House a straightforward base for a group or family staying on this part of the west coast.
