Amberley House sits within the grounds of the Sandy Lane Estate in St. James, built with a modern, Caribbean-inflected style throughout. The property has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with two of the bedrooms ensuite, all located on the first floor of the main house. One of the bedrooms can be made up as two twin beds or pushed together to form a king, giving some flexibility depending on who is staying. A television is fitted in the media room, and there are safes in the master bedroom and the fourth bedroom. Telephones are available in the kitchen, the master bedroom and the fourth bedroom. Outside, a large covered terrace and wooden decking wrap around a sizeable pool, which has a heated jacuzzi alongside it for use year-round. The pool runs from 4 ft at the shallow end to 6 ft at the deep end. The house has access to Sandy Lane Beach, arranged through the Sandy Lane Property Owners' Association. A two-bedroom guest cottage stands on the property with its own separate entrance, though it is currently occupied by a long-term tenant and does not share the main house's pool. For extra sleeping space, there is a convertible couch and a roll-away bed, the latter suitable for children only; additional guests beyond the standard count can be accommodated for a surcharge. Guests may use the Beach Bar at Sandy Lane, which serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with sandwiches, salads, fruit and ice cream, open daily from 11.00am to 6.00pm. The bar is reserved for members and guests.
