Sugar Cane Mews is one of the newer developments at Royal Westmoreland, St. James, and Sugar Cane Mews 1 sits right next to the first tee and the short game practice area, with easy access to the clubhouse. The Sanctuary pool and gym, a tennis court and the Rum Shak bar are all a short stroll from the door. The outlook is south-facing with unobstructed sea views and a clear line over the championship golf course, which makes the setting one of the better ones on the estate. The ground floor holds the master suite, which has its own en suite bathroom, along with a sitting area that opens straight onto the garden, pool and terrace through floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. Two further guest bedrooms on this level each come with their own en suite bathroom. A fourth bedroom, also en suite and of similarly generous size, sits on the mezzanine floor, bringing the house to 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total. Upstairs on the first floor, the living and dining areas open fully through more floor to ceiling glass sliding doors onto a covered, south-facing terrace that looks over the private pool, with fairway and sea views stretching out beyond it. Sugar Cane Mews 1 carries social membership. Guests staying under this membership are asked to register for houseguest cards at the Club House, which gives access to the RWM facilities and the Beach Club, though not the golf course itself. Social Members pay to golf at the applicable rates, with tee-off times available only between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. From 1st May, 2026, a weekly charge applies for house guest membership cards. This is based on the number of bedrooms booked rather than occupancy, so guests who do not wish to use RWM amenities simply do not register. The charge is per week or any part of a week, and covers everyone staying in the villa rather than being worked out per person or pro-rata by day. Properties with 1-2 bedrooms are charged Bds$200.00 per week, 3-bedroom properties Bds$250.00 per week, and properties with 4 or more bedrooms Bds$300.00 per week.
