About

About this villa

Royal Villa 17 sits inside Royal Westmoreland, the gated resort community on the Platinum Coast in St. James, and has recently been refurbished throughout. It is a three-bedroom villa built for easy island living, with a style that is tropical but uncluttered, and it suits families, couples or a group of friends equally well. The living spaces are open-plan and bright, with contemporary furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking at home when you choose to. All three bedrooms are en suite, giving everyone their own space and privacy, and there are 3.5 bathrooms in total. Large doors lead from the living area onto a terrace that catches the sun, looking over tropical gardens - a good spot for coffee in the morning, a quiet afternoon, or drinks as the day winds down. The terrace is also set up for outdoor dining. A short walk away is an infinity-edge pool kept exclusively for guests staying at Royal Villa and Royal Apartment properties, so it never feels crowded. The stay comes with Royal Westmoreland Social Membership, which opens up a good part of the resort's life to guests. That means use of The Sanctuary's communal pool and gym, plus tennis, pickleball and padel courts, though court fees can apply and it is worth booking ahead. The membership also covers entry to Mullins Beach Club on the west coast, where sun loungers, parasols and towels are set up for you, and a complimentary shuttle runs between the resort and the beach club so getting there takes no planning. Clubhouse dining at the Rum Shak is included too. Holetown is close by, along with a choice of beaches, beach bars, restaurants and shops, so Royal Villa 17 offers resort comfort with easy reach of everything around it.
