You reach the apartment up a coral stone stairwell and through a cool stone foyer. Inside, the kitchen is open plan and fully equipped, opening through French doors into a sitting room with television, and from there out to a double covered terrace. The terrace is the heart of the place: a dining area set up for meals with a view of the ocean and gardens, a seating area with 2 sofas that suits sundowners, and a spa pool or jacuzzi at the end of it. The planting around the spa pool draws in local hummingbirds, which are worth watching over a morning coffee. Decor throughout is in natural, ocean-toned hues, giving the apartment a relaxed, tropical feel suited to couples or a family. The principal bedroom has a King bed, a walk-in wardrobe, a private balcony with a sun lounger, and an en-suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom also has a King bed, which can be split into 2 twins, along with its own en-suite shower room; it opens directly onto the terrace and shares the same sea view. Being part of a small beachfront complex, the apartment has the bay practically on its doorstep, shaded by coconut trees, while Holetown and Speightstown are both a short distance away.
