Reeds House sits directly on the sandy beach at Reeds Bay, St. James, with tropical gardens around it and the Caribbean Sea close enough to swim, snorkel or try other water sports straight from the doorstep. This penthouse sleeps 4 to 6 across 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with views out to the sea from every room. The kitchen opens onto a large living room, air-conditioned, with a satellite plasma TV, DVD player and music system, and a covered dining terrace beyond looks over the water. The principal bedroom has a king size four-poster bed, marble fittings, a large corner bath and a separate shower room en suite, plus its own sitting area with a wet bar. All three bedrooms are air-conditioned and fitted with ceiling fans; the third is a bedroom/sitting room with its own en-suite shower room. The second floor is given over to a 55 foot private roof terrace. Here a covered dining area for 8 people comes with its own wet bar and ice maker, opening onto a sun terrace with loungers, several seating areas and a large spa-pool. Penthouse 14 can be combined with the neighbouring Penthouse 13 through interconnecting doors, useful for a larger group travelling together. Reeds House itself is a small, secluded beach-front development set between the Royal Pavilion and Cobblers Cove hotels, on the stretch of coast known as the Platinum Coast, with some of the island's better restaurants and bars along it. Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland golf courses are a 5 to 10 minute drive, along with several tennis clubs and health spas, and Holetown and Speightstown are both close by for shopping.
