The White House sits in Porters Place, a newly built development in Porters, St. James, a short distance from the centre of Holetown and its beaches, restaurants, shops, bars and coffee shops. The villa holds one of the better positions on the estate and offers 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms across a generous, open-plan layout. Inside, Italian porcelain tiles run throughout, set off by natural-coloured rugs and a mix of local and international artwork. The living area, which is air-conditioned, is fitted with a 75-inch LG TV and furnished in a style that leans tropical rather than formal. The kitchen, also air-conditioned, is fully equipped with granite worktops and Bosch appliances, built for anyone who wants to cook rather than just holiday nearby. Sliding doors lead from the living and kitchen space to a covered dining terrace, where an eight-seater sustainable teak table with padded chairs sits alongside a corner sectional sofa for lounging outdoors. From there the space opens onto a courtyard with a sun deck, gardens, an outdoor swinging egg chair and sustainable teak pool lounge furniture with plush pads and cushions. The 20ft pool is the centrepiece of this outdoor area, and there is an outdoor shower on the sun deck as well. The principal bedroom is calm and contemporary, with a King bed dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. Sliding doors open straight onto the sun deck, putting the pool just steps away. It is en-suite, air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. Guest bedrooms 2 and 3 are also en-suite, each with a King bed, while guest bedroom 4 has twin beds that convert to a King and uses a family bathroom with an overhead shower. Every guest bedroom comes with a flat-screen TV, fast-speed internet, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and good-quality bedding. Porters Place is gated, with a perimeter fence around the development, security lighting throughout the site, surveillance and a pin-number entry system. The White House itself is a carbon neutral property, drawing its electricity from photovoltaic solar panels and its hot water from naturally heated tanks. Two parking spaces are allocated to the villa, with further parking available elsewhere on site.
