Porters Court is a small development of 8 villas in St. James, built around a shared swimming pool and a patio set with sun loungers. The gardens are well tended and tropical, and the whole development is enclosed, with security gates the only way in. The beach is 100 metres away, reached along a path beside the Lone Star Restaurant, with the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea on this stretch of the west coast. Villa No. 7 has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, set out as one open-plan living space. The whole villa is air-conditioned, and every room also has a ceiling fan. It is furnished simply and comfortably, suited to a couple or a family wanting a quiet, unhurried stay. A safety deposit box and electric gates are included for peace of mind. Rates include linen, towels and beach towels, along with a maid/laundress service and a gardener who also looks after the pool. Guests can use the communal pool and patio area with its sun loungers at any time. Fairmont Beach Club access cards come with the villa too. Golfers are well placed here: Royal Westmoreland Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away, and Sandy Lane Golf Course is 10 minutes away, both among the finest courses in the Caribbean.
