About this villa

Ocean Heights sits right on the cliff front in Prospect, St. James, on Barbados' west coast, known locally as the Platinum Coast. The house is arranged over four levels, and every level has its own balcony with views out over the Caribbean Sea. The upper three floors make up the main villa; the ground floor is a separate, self-contained apartment that can be rented on its own or together with the rest of the house. On the first floor of the main villa there are 3 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, set around a central lounge. Two of these bedrooms open onto a covered terrace that leads straight down to the beach. A flight of stairs up brings you to the second floor, where the sitting and dining area is laid out for entertaining: a large dining room, a bright living space, a modern kitchen and a wide covered patio. Big windows in the dining room and kitchen keep the sea view in sight from indoors. The whole of the third floor is given over to the Master Suite, known as the Sand Dollar Room. It has a walk-in closet with its own dressing area, an ensuite bathroom with both tub and shower, and a small adjoining space that works as a study or sitting area. A second, smaller room on this floor has a single bed and no bathroom of its own. Downstairs, the ground-floor apartment has a kitchenette and two further bedrooms, a twin and a single, each with a wardrobe and bathroom. Altogether the house has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Restaurants and beaches are close by, and Holetown is a 10-minute drive away.
