Moon Dance sits on almost two acres of landscaped grounds within the Sandy Lane Estate, St. James, with a west-facing aspect over the 8th hole of the golf course. A short walk down the 9th fairway, past the Old Nine Clubhouse and the Hotel Tennis courts, brings you across the road to the main entrance of The Sandy Lane Hotel and the Sandy Lane Property Owners beach facility, on what is considered the island's finest west coast beach. The property stands at the end of a no through road, screened by electric gates and security fencing, so privacy is total despite the setting. Inside, the decor mixes natural tones with splashes of colour, and the rooms are arranged for easy living between indoor and outdoor space, well suited to a large family or group travelling together. The main house has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in total. Four bedrooms in the main villa face the garden through French doors, each air conditioned with ceiling fans, and each with its own en-suite bath and separate shower. The principal suite, recently reconfigured and larger than the rest, has its own air-conditioned bathroom. The main guest suite sits at the centre of the house with a private balcony, a large walk-in wardrobe and a generous bath looking over the garden. An open-plan living and dining room seats 8 and leads onto a covered patio that looks over the pool and gardens, with further lounge seating and a second dining area for 10 to 12 people set up for meals outdoors. A separate table by the pool seats 6. The kitchen is fully equipped, air conditioned and fitted by Italian maker Scavolini in 2015. There is also a separate air-conditioned TV room with a 40 inch television set up for Apple TV and a DVD player, plus WiFi internet, a VOIP phone line and a fax machine throughout the house. The grounds hold a self-contained cottage with 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, its own kitchen and lounge, and a patio shaded by a mahogany tree, well suited to guests after a bit more privacy. Above the garage is a simpler room with two single beds, useful for children or a nanny. The pool is finished in Japanese mosaic tile, uses low-chemical salt water, and has a jacuzzi alongside it. There are extra sun loungers and two gazebos by the pool, one fitted with a bar and the other with a bathroom and shower, so a full day outside needs no trip back into the house.
