Landfall sits right on Sandy Lane beach in St. James, on the west coast of Barbados, with around 12,000 square feet of living space split between six bedrooms and six bathrooms. A central courtyard greets you first, filled with tropical flowers and a fountain, and opens onto a small gym, a kitchen, a gazebo set up for dining, a bar and several outdoor areas for entertaining, all looking out over the pool and the beach beyond. Two of the six bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with its own bathroom. Upstairs there is a TV room along with four further en-suite bedrooms, including the principal suite. Two of the upstairs bedrooms open onto balconies with sea views, and the principal bedroom has an especially large balcony of its own. Outside, a heated jacuzzi sits at the edge of the patio, with a gazebo nearby fitted out with seating and a hammock for shade. Steps lead down from the pool terrace to a sunken patio with its own seating area, which in turn opens into an air-conditioned bar and media room furnished with an oversized L-shaped sofa. The house works well for family holidays, for entertaining, for a quieter romantic stay, or for golf trips, given its position next to the Sandy Lane Estate and Golf Course. Holetown, with its shops and supermarkets, is a quarter mile away.
