High Spirits sits on a ridge in Royal Westmoreland, St. James, with the golf course spread out below and the turquoise water of the West Coast beyond it. The decor runs to white and beige with occasional touches of colour, kept simple rather than fussy throughout the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. From the entrance, the main living area opens straight onto a wide patio and the infinity-edge pool. Either side of the entrance foyer there is a further seating area, each with its own television - one has a 3D set and an Xbox - and comfortable places to sit. The smaller of the two has a desk tucked into the corner for anyone who needs to work. WiFi is complimentary throughout the house. The kitchen was designed in Italy, with marble worktops and stainless steel appliances, and includes its own casual dining spot for breakfast. For more formal meals, the poolside patio serves as the dining room. Upstairs are two principal bedrooms, both opening onto a shared balcony with the same golf course views as downstairs. The other two bedrooms are on the ground floor; one opens directly onto a garden path leading to the pool area, where lounge chairs and umbrellas are set out. Guests also have use of Royal Westmoreland's facilities: a 5-star golf course, tennis courts, a fitness centre, a spa, a clubhouse with its own resort pool, and several dining options. Guest fees and restrictions apply within the development.
