Harmony House is a coral stone villa set right on Gibbs Beach in St. Peter, with its own frontage onto the white sand and turquoise water of the Caribbean. Tropical gardens surround the property, giving it a good deal of privacy while keeping the beach only steps away. There are 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, making 3.5 bathrooms in total. The principal suite and a second bedroom sit on the first floor, with the third bedroom on the ground floor. Every bedroom opens onto a private balcony, a good spot for morning coffee or a quiet read, and local artwork brings in bright touches of tropical colour throughout. Both the principal bathroom and the second upstairs bathroom have an outdoor shower, while the ground floor bathroom has a shower indoors. A separate cloakroom is also located on the ground floor. The ground floor lounge is comfortably furnished and opens through double French doors onto a covered patio. Out here you will find a built-in bar, a plunge pool and space for dining in the open air, with a table that seats up to 10 people beside a custom-designed sculptural mirror. In the evening, handmade copper lanterns and candle sconces light the patio, making it a good place to gather with friends after dark. The wet-bar on the patio comes with a wine cooler and an ice machine for ease of entertaining. Beyond the patio, a shaded tropical garden leads out to the sand of Gibbs Beach itself, where the sea stays calm and clear for swimming. From here it is a walk along the beach to Mullins Beach Bar, known for its sundowners. Harmony House comes with a friendly household staff, including a Cook, on hand to help make a stay here an easy one. Holetown and Speightstown are both about 12 minutes away by car, putting shops and restaurants within easy reach of this beachfront home.
