Life's a Beach sits on the second floor of Coral Cove, a small development of 12 apartments and two penthouses in Paynes Bay, St. James, designed by architect Roldano Bellori. The building fronts about 100 feet of beach, with a private entrance down to the sand, and is a few minutes from Sandy Lane. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with interiors fitted out by Island House, the interior design firm. Rooms are arranged to make the most of the outdoor space, and the layout puts the emphasis on the balcony rather than the rooms themselves. That balcony runs the width of the apartment, fully private, and looks straight out over the Caribbean Sea and the white sand below. The gardens around the building are landscaped and include a number of aged mahogany trees, giving the grounds some shade and shape beyond the usual planting. Coral Cove is on the West Coast, within walking distance of beach bars, restaurants and boutique shops, and a short distance from the Sandy Lane Hotel and Golf Club.
