About

About this villa

Cloudbreak sits up in Westmoreland, St. James, with wide views across the surrounding countryside towards the coast. The house has been renovated recently and thoroughly, and the result feels fresh without losing any of its character. The main house holds 3 of the 5 bedrooms, each with air conditioning, and a further 2 bedrooms sit in a separate guest cottage, also air conditioned. Across the property there are 5.5 bathrooms, so there is no queuing in the mornings and plenty of privacy for a group sharing the house. The main living space is open-plan, running straight through to a kitchen fitted with a breakfast bar and a dining table large enough for the whole party to sit down together. It is the kind of room that works equally well for a quiet breakfast or a long evening meal. Outside, the private pool is the centre of things, with a gazebo for shade, sun loungers set around the edge, and a gas barbecue close by for easy outdoor cooking. It is a straightforward, well-thought-out space for lounging by day and eating out in the evening, with those Westmoreland views as a backdrop. The guest cottage is more than just extra bedrooms: it has its own living area and a small kitchen, so guests staying there can keep to themselves when they want to, making coffee or a light meal without having to go into the main house. Between the main house and the cottage, Cloudbreak gives a group five bedrooms in total, plenty of bathrooms, a proper outdoor set-up around the pool, and the kind of recent renovation that means everything works as it should.
