Villa Church Point 4 sits in a quiet cul-de-sac next to the historic St. James church, a few minutes from Holetown on the West Coast of Barbados. This beachfront house has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, with a layout well suited to a quiet stay by the sea. The entrance is lined with palms and other tropical planting and leads into a spacious dining room, which steps down into an open plan living area. A smaller breakfast nook and a newly fitted bar add extra space for entertaining, and large French doors open onto a terrace laid in cool clay tile, looking out over the landscaped gardens. In the main bungalow-style house, two bedrooms are reached by a wooden staircase. Both are bright rooms with vaulted wooden ceilings, air conditioning and generous wardrobe space, and both open through large doors onto a shared balcony with views over the garden and the Caribbean Sea. Furnishings throughout mix West Indian art with traditional and modern pieces. A separate guest cottage opens off the main patio, with its own private access through the side gardens. It has a studio bedroom, a small kitchenette, a bar and a combined living and dining space, plus its own private patio. A garden path leads straight onto the beach, where a small bay is good for a morning swim or for watching the sunset. The Folkestone Marine Park, known for snorkelling, is a short walk south along the boardwalk. Despite its quiet, private setting, the villa is only minutes from Holetown's restaurants, shops, nightlife and the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre. Note that in late January and early February there can be some noise from activities at the neighbouring church.
