Bluff House stands right on Sandy Lane beach in St. James, with its own private path down to the sand. The villa has 6 bedrooms and sits within over an acre of mature tropical gardens, having recently been enlarged and newly furnished throughout. For larger groups, it can be combined with Bluff Cottage to sleep up to 16 guests across 8 bedrooms in total. A coral stone hallway runs through the house and opens onto a newly created entertaining space set among tropical planting at the centre of the property. This area leads straight out to the pool deck, where the view runs through the palms to the sea. A sitting room nearby, fitted with TV, satellite, video and stereo, gives guests a quiet place to settle. The indoor dining room is built around a coral stone table and opens onto a covered verandah for more relaxed meals with the same view out to the water. The 6 bedrooms are doubles, air conditioned, each with its own ensuite bathroom and a telephone. The principal bedroom has its own expansive terrace looking over the garden to the sea beyond, while the remaining bedrooms each open directly onto the grounds. Entry to the property is through a gated intercom at the base of a sweeping driveway, giving guests both privacy and security, and a built-in sound system runs through all the living areas. Down on the beach, sun loungers are set out for guests' use, with direct access from the garden by private path. Sandy Lane's 18-hole golf course is close by for those who want a round.
